A Tiny Scratch is a collaboration of emerging writers, actors and theatre-makers. Female-led, Tiny Theatre Company endeavour to give three short pieces of new writing a platform, sharing each story and bringing characters to life for the very first time. The three plays included in the evening are: As She Likes It by Chloe Wade Crossroads by Callum ORourke Misinformed by Eden Luke McIntyre Each piece explores twenty first century subject matters inclusive of relationships and stories one can relate to; adding light-hearted humour to some very important and relevant themes. A celebration of new and exciting work. As She Likes It follows the sharp-witted conversation of two theatre ushers working on the wrong side of the stage from where they want to be. Whilst waiting for their big break, how many ice creams does a person need to sell before they crack? Crossroads explores sexuality and acceptance. Noras brother returns after being chased away from the town he grew up in. Questioning her own faith after tragedy struck again and again in his absence Will this be the homecoming he expected? Misinformed is a satirical comedy which explores todays environmental issues, conspiracies and important issues within modern society. We witness the conversation between two misinformed protestors who jumble fact, fiction and absurdity.
