So, obviously were now running our very own cabaret & drag course. Perfect for those of you who want to try it for the first time or further develop your skills. The course explores topics like performing gender, make up, lip syncing and character, with participants developing a new 3.5 minute set to perform at the end of term. Previous masterclasses have been led by artists such as Lucy McCormick, Bourgeois & Maurice, Temi Wilkey & Celine Lowenthal (Pecs), Amrou Al-Kadhi, Orion aka Creature Cramps, Molly Beth White, Len Blanco, Rubyyy Jones, Guy Common and many more. The Comedy & Drag Lab meet weekly on Saturdays (2.5 hours), with classes starting on 5 October until 30 November. On Saturday 14 December well hold a public sharing, where youll be able to showcase what youve learned over the course in a safe environment, at our very own Soho Theatre. We ask that participants commit to attending all 10 weeks. Early bird course cost is 125 with bursaries available to people on Universal Credit or other benefits.
