Voted for by you, the DIVA Awards are split into 18 categories, paying tribute to the lesbian, bisexual, trans and queer people making a difference in all walks of life. Winners of the DIVA Awards 2018 will be named at the awards ceremony on Friday 8th June at the Hilton Waldorf. Hosted, for the second year, by the one and only Rachel Shelley, there will be glitz, glamour and celebrity guests! Linda Riley, publisher of DIVA, said: "We are delighted to be celebrating our community its with such a fantastic event. It's the highlight if the DIVA year." One of the most hotly anticipated events in the lesbian calendar, the annual DIVA Awards are a no-holds-barred celebration of the achievements of lesbian, bisexual and trans women and their allies across business, the media, politics and sport. Lesbians and bisexual women are becoming increasingly visible, with politicians, media stars, authors, sportswomen and business leaders all demonstrating that determination and talent can overcome prejudice. These amazing women serve as role models to the generations who follow them, and everyone at DIVA is delighted that clued-up corporates recognise the value and importance of the DIVA demographic.
