Rainbow Days Oxford Pride Parade - Saturday 2rd June 2018 Oxford's annual LGBT Pride event, with two stages acts throughout the day. Parade kicks off from midday. With less than 40 days to go until this years Oxford Pride event, this years Committee are pleased to announce the details of this years festival and main event. We start with the annual Dog Show on Sunday 21st May, in the Castle Quarter. Its a fabulous day, and fun for all the family. Then commencing Friday 26th May a series of different events across City including a themed walk, a talk at Wadham College, looking back at the partial decriminalisation of homosexuality, a comedy night held at the Plush Lounge and the Broken Spokes Bike Co-Op are pimping their cycles for the Oxford Pride parade. On Saturday 3rd June, the day of Oxford Pride, the Parade will form up at Radcliffe Square from 11am and departs at noon towards Broad Street, then up to Cornmarket, Queen Street to Bonn Square. The Parade will then continue along New Road to enter the Castle Quarter event site down the drive to Malmaison. Everyone is welcome to join the parade, or cheer along as it comes past. From 1pm two stages, one within the Castle Quarter and one on Paradise Street will come alive with music and entertainment. Acts announced include The Oxford Gospel Choir, Britains got Talent finalist La Voix, Sean Smith from Same Difference, BBC 2s Folk Musician of the Year winner Megan Henwood, Ru Pauls Drag Race finalist Courtney Act, and headlining will be 90s dance act N-Trance.
