Snape on 28 Aug - 7.30pm
Britains biggest boy band and the largest gay choir in Europe, the London Gay Mens Chorus are a musical phenomenon. Slickly choreographed, their exuberantly delivered, richly harmonised arrangements take in everything from iconic pop ballads, show tunes to classical music including specially commissioned pieces. They regularly attract sell-out audiences to the major venues in and far beyond their home city and they have appeared on Children in Need, the Graham Norton Show and Top of the Pops. Agit-Pop features songs by Erasure, Nina Simone, Boy George, Lily Allen and many more, the show celebrates the music of liberation and protest, and how popular music really did help change the world.
