London on 26 Nov - 20:00
For the 50th anniversary of the partial decriminalisation of homosexuality in the passing of the Sexual Offences Act and the passing of the Abortion Act Queer Tours of London A Mince Through Time and our friends are organising a tribute night, swing dance and feast to the activists who made it happen. This will be to pay tribute to the Womens Liberation Movement and those behind the passing of 1967 Sexual Offences Act and the ongoing Gay Liberation Front. These are the LEGENDS who fought tooth and nail to legalise abortion and homosexuality in 1967 (now the 50th anniversary) and this is our chance to celebrate who actually made it happen (rather than the Government who may try to take credit next year).
