Whirl-y-Fayre
Low Ham on 19 - 21 Aug - 3:00 pm - 10:00 pm.

Whirl-y-Gig presents the fourth Whirl-y-Fayre. There will be something for everyone, a whirly weekend of quality dance music with all the magic of the Fayre! "Whirl-y-Fayre, you're a small, familiar, intimate, friendly and perfectly formed festival and you never disappoint" (Liquid Lounge 2015). By day, the Parlour Party hosts spontaneous performances from Fayre goers. Artists of all ages and places touch the heart strings with songs of freedom and unity. Whether you are a musician or magician, comic or poet, the Parlour Free Stage is your stage, be it solo, together, or as a spontaneous collective. The Parlour Party is for all of us, on stage or off. We have instruments or bring your own. By night, the Whirl-y-Fayre big top stands like a mystical bastion beneath the moon, with the fabulous Zeeman Zap light show radiating iridescent colours upon the towering canopy. Within its glowing walls you will find DJ Monkey Pilot plus special guests such as Banco de Gaia, Transglobal Underground, Kaya Project, Zetan Spore and so many more! Whirl-y-Gig has always been an event difficult to describe and a moment difficult to miss. The Global Disco delivers a unique electronic landscape of irresistible dance music. From deep dub step and hot drum'n'bass to tropical house and tribal trance, the Whirl-y-Mix embraces flavours of celtic or global, classical or psychedelic, rock and pop, roots and radical. Whether it be African or European, Arabic or Asian, Whirl-y-Gig finds inspiration from around the world on one ecstatic dancefloor. The Whirl-y-Teez tent plays host once again to Kevin's Parlour Bar and the well-loved 24 hour Eartheart Caf with its wonderful vegetarian and vegan cuisine. The overnight After Parties are truly lush, sustained by the best of chilled DJs and over breakfast the melodious strains of 'Harp John' transport us to the mystical realms beyond our wakefulness! Plus Zelias luxury Tipi Lodge, Robbie's Psyart tent, stalls and food outlets, there is so much more! Whirl-y-Fayre was voted Best Family Festival for 2016 by readers of Green Parent Magazine.
