"ITS only April but already theres a contender for Showbiz Event of the Year. The inaugural, champagne-fuelled Out In The City/g3 Readers Awards took place on Friday night, hosted by Corrie star Charlie Condou and actress, Sophie Ward. A celeb-backed silent auction, boasting prizes such as a trip on the Orient Express, a signed Kylie Minogue montage and a private tour of the Coronation St set, helped raise over 23k for charity, Diversity Role Models. Guests in attendance included MICs Ollie Locke, Clare Balding and Waterloo Roads Heather Peace. And, in a true meeting of minds, Stephen Fry met Towies Harry Derbridge. The conversation didnt last long. Nonetheless, a brilliant night had by all."
